Number 42 Battery Street is a two-bedroom, hideaway with breath-taking views of Malta’s Grand Harbour in Valletta. Renovated for the rental market, the interior design retained the traditional Maltese features of the balcony, flagstone and Maltese tile flooring, and high ceilings. These contrast beautifully with more contemporary finishes such as the micro cement walls and custom furniture. The headboards and bedside tables were designed by Mattermake. In the master bedroom the headboard and bedside table reinvents the traditional pattern of the Maltese tiles in a new and vibrant way. The light and shadows created give a sensual aura to the interiors.
